Okay. So just recently, me and my fiance decided to go on a road trip. Our original plan was to go without a specific plan. But we thought it was a bit hard, so we decided to go to Naples since it's just an hour or two form our place. We were both feeling like a kid, so we decided to go to Naples and visit some of the kid-friendly spots.
We decided to visit Alligator Alley. Back then, Alligator Alley was just a dark, two lane road that went through Everglades. It was the best, and quickest way to cross Florida's west coast. But now, I was surprised to see that it's a two lane street, and there's a chain-link fence along a vast majority of the highway. This was places, I assume, to separate the road from the alligators.
When we got there, I was really hocked, and delighted to see almost 100 alligators. My fiance and I even went sown the car to check the alligators. There was one swimming in the water just about 30 feet from us and two huge ones sunbathing on the other side of the water. Really a cool experience. My fiance and I really had a good time!
Still feeling like kids, we went to King Richard's Family Fun Park. There, we had a blast playing go karts. After that, my fiance asked if we could go on a laser tag game. And who was I to say no? We really had a great time enjoying the park's amenities. After that, we tried the rides, and we had fun riding the roller coaster and the bumper boats. We got really wet after that!
Our last stop was at Zoo In Naples Caribbean Gardens. As we strolled at the park, we got to see up close the lions, tigers, and other animals that live in a close approximation of natural habitat. After that, we watched the King of the Jungle. The lion, who was the star of the show, reminded me of the one in Madagascar. he knows how to put on a show for everyone and it's pretty funny when you watch it with that in mind.
The road trip ended with a sweet “Thank You” from my fiance! What a great way to end an enjoyable and memorable road trip!
